Movement has always been my language. From ballet and jazz dance in my youth, to aerobics in my teens, and then hiking, biking, cross country skiing as an adult, I’ve long been drawn to the deep connection between body and spirit. Yoga became a true calling over a decade ago, and since then I’ve been a regular practitioner.
Under the guidance of several mentors, my practice evolved into a journey of breath, movement, and mindfulness. I earned my 200-hour teacher certification in 2022 and have continued expanding my practice through retreats in Mexico and India.
I currently teach at a Seattle Parks and Recreation community center, dedicated to making yoga accessible to all. As both teacher and lifelong student, I’m passionate about sharing the transformational power of yoga with my community.
I call Seattle home, where I live with my husband Mike and our spirited pup, Rikka. Our days wind down with neighborhood dog walks and weekends often take us to the peaceful shores of Whidbey Island. We love experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes, sharing meals with friends, and tackling the never-ending list of house projects. Whether we’re jetting off to see family in the Midwest or discovering hidden gems nearby or abroad, travel is one of our favorite ways to connect, explore, and recharge.
